Hugh Ady is the founder and principal of Statecraft. With over a decade of experience in state politics, public affairs, and political campaigns, Hugh brings deep institutional knowledge and a proven ability to navigate complex policy environments.
His career in Oregon state government began as a policy analyst for the House Minority Caucus. From there, he worked at one of Oregon’s leading lobby firms where he supported clients across the lobbying and polling industries. Hugh later led a statewide nonprofit association as Executive Director, affecting landmark policy change in the legislative arena.
Today, as the founder of Statecraft, Hugh combines hands-on-expertise with strategic advocacy to represent clients before the Oregon legislature, state agencies, and key stakeholders.
